David Hill was joined by the choir's president John Rutter, and Simon Tavener, nephew to Sir John Tavener.

The Bach Choir reflects on the life and works of Sir John Tavener (1944-2013) ahead of our headline concert at the Royal Festival Hall, given in what would have been the composer’s 70th birthday year.

The documentary is available to view here on the Choir’s official YouTube Channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hvD_u9kREmk

The concert will also feature the UK premiere of O where, tell me where?, a meditation on three Scottish folk songs, and one of the very last works Tavener composed.  The Choir gave the world premiere at the Shanghai Oriental Art Centre, China on 10 April 2014.
