Vocalise! Virtual Children’s Choir Project

At The Bach Choir we have been missing working with the children in our outreach programme, so have decided to invite all children of any age to take part in an online singing project. Using the resources provided, children can learn ‘Love’ by Will Todd and send us a video recording of them singing the song by 30 September. We will combine the submissions to form the Vocalise! Virtual Choir and post the final video on our website and social media platforms.

We believe that the message of ‘Love’ is more important now than ever. We hope that through this project we can recapture some of the feelings of joy and connection that singing brings, until we are able to be together in person again. We hope this will help to spread some love through the power of music during these uncertain times.

To access the resources and take part in the project, follow this link on the outreach page of our website. The password is: Vocalise!

Please share this information with your network so that as many children as possible can enjoy being involved in this singing project over the summer. If you have any queries, please contact us by emailing aliss.pollock@thebachchoir.org.uk.

The song ‘Love’ comes from Lights, Stories, Noise, Dreams, Love and Noodles, composed by Will Todd specially for The Bach Choir’s outreach programme and premiered in 2016. It was performed again at Cadogan Hall, London, in 2019 by 300 children from our partner schools. Clips from this fantastic concert and more information about Vocalise! can be found here.
