Singers run 15 miles of the Circle Line to raise funds for the choir

On Sunday 8th September members of The Bach Choir took part in the Circle Line Dash, an idea generated by General Manager Nick Cutts and first bass John Stanton, which involved running the entire route of the Circle Line, above ground, taking in some of the Choir’s performance venues such as the Royal Festival Hall and the Royal Albert Hall.  Pictured are Nick, centre, with John and three of the singers who ran the entire 15 miles and raised an astonishing £2,300.

Congratulations to all those who ran, and also to those who offered their support by cheering the runners on and supplying refreshments.  Nick hopes that post-run donations will take the total to at least £3,000; if you would like to support us, please do visit our Virgin Money Giving page.  Thank you to all those who have already supported us so generously.
