The Bach Choir is pleased to be an Arts Award Supporter, offering young people exciting opportunities towards the completion of their Arts Award.

What is Arts Award?

Offered at 5 levels (Discover, Explore, Bronze, Silver, and Gold), Arts Award is an award for young people up to the age of 25 designed to encourage them to grow as artists and arts leaders. Young people can customise the Award by selecting activities and opportunities from a number of registered arts organisations (‘Arts Award Supporters’). Through Arts Award young people gain a nationally recognised qualification enabling them to progress into further education and employment.

There are no entry requirements, no time limit for completing the award, and no set rules on how to present final work. Young people just need to be aged 25 or under, and ready to explore new creative experiences.

To find out more about Arts Award and how to get involved, visit the Arts Award website.

How can we help and support you?

If you are working towards your Arts Award, The Bach Choir can offer you a number of opportunities. Perhaps you fancy reviewing a concert, or blogging about us? Maybe you’d like to interview some of the professional musicians we work with? Or if you want to work with younger children, you can get involved with our Vocalise! Programme.

If you are interested in any of these opportunities and want to find out more, please contact our Community Engagement Administrator, Joseph Hookway via joseph.hookway@thebachchoir.org.uk.
