Concert Synopsis

‘From the heart – may it return to the heart’

Beethoven’s mighty setting of the Mass is one of the grandest and greatest choral works ever composed, taking listeners on a profound spiritual journey through turbulent doubt to ultimate redemption. The Bach Choir is joined by the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for what is regarded as one of Beethoven’s most personal and heartfelt works.

Enhanced by exploration of music and deafness with guest compère Richard Stilgoe and signing by inspirational speaker Paul Whittaker OBE.
