JS Bach St Matthew Passion – concert not now taking place

Following the Southbank Centre’s decision to close its venues, and the government’s advice on social distancing, we very much regret that our performance of Bach’s St Matthew Passion on Sunday 5 April 2020 will not take place as planned.

If you bought tickets for this performance from The Bach Choir’s box office, you will have been contacted already.  If your tickets were bought through the Southbank Centre, they will be in touch with you.  Once you’ve received your refund from the venue, we would be enormously grateful if you would consider donating the value of your tickets to The Bach Choir.  We are a registered charity no 258287 and donations can be made by visiting our donations page or by calling us on 020 7127 9114.

This is a difficult time for us all, but we are confident that The Bach Choir will emerge from this stronger and even more committed to singing great choral music.  We are very grateful to you and all our audiences for your continued support.
