Financial Support for The Bach Choir
|
The Bach Choir is well known as one of the finest independent choirs in the world, with an unswerving commitment to the highest possible music standards. The cost of promoting our own concerts - with top quality soloists and orchestras - is rarely less than £30,000 and is often significantly higher.
Our goals also include:
- Safeguarding the English choral tradition, by performing newer and less well-known works of quality
- Commissioning, performing and recording new works by contemporary composers
- Encouraging young singers to join us, by waiving almost all of our normal subscription fees
- Promoting singing by young children in inner city schools, through our Outreach Project.
We receive no funding from the Arts Council and are therefore dependent on our supporters to enable us to realise our musical aspirations. If you would like to hear more about what we do and how you can help us, please contact Ben Park, our General Manager.
Our recently established Corporate Entertainment Scheme enables companies and businesses to support us whilst at the same time providing unique entertainment opportunities for their clients and guests.
We are indebted to
