The Bach Choir is proud of its many achievements but we need financial help from our supporters to realise our musical aspirations. For example, the cost of promoting our own concerts is rarely less than £40,000 and often more. We welcome one-off gifts, and are especially grateful for regular, planned donations. All donors are acknowledged in concert programmes, unless they prefer to remain anonymous.
Become a Benefactor
Donors giving between £500 and £1,000 per annum are acknowledged as Benefactors in concert programmes. Benefactors have the following privileges:
- Personal preference booking
- Tickets for an annual party hosted by the Chairman, Musical Director and Choir members
- The opportunity to accompany the Choir on tour
Become a Gold Benefactor
Donors giving more than £1,000 per annum are acknowledged as Gold Benefactors in concert programmes, and are entitled to the following additional benefits:
- First choice preference booking
- Invitation to participate in occasional special events
If you are a UK taxpayer, using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, we get an extra 25p from the Inland Revenue, helping your donation go further. If you are a higher rate taxpayer, you can also claim back the difference between the basic and higher rate tax paid, thus further reducing the net cost to you of your gift.
All donors are encouraged to become Friends of The Bach Choir: the key to involvement with the Choir and its music. Friends receive discounted tickets and other benefits including interval receptions and an annual party. If you wish to become a Friend, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to make a larger donation or consider sponsorship of The Bach Choir, please contact the General Manager on 020 7127 4677 or email email@example.com
