The Board of Trustees of The Bach Choir is delighted to announce the appointment of Adrienne Hall-Turnbull as Development Director from July 2017. Adrienne will work with the newly formed Development Board, chaired by Neil Palmer, Principal at Bejalo Real Estate Partners, to realise the Choir’s ambitious fundraising strategy.
Adrienne is a Development Professional with over 30 years’ experience at senior level in University, Civil Society and Arts organisations. Her University experience includes the LSE, St Hilda’s College, Oxford, and Strathclyde University in the UK, and Wits and Stellenbosch Universities in South Africa, where she also held leadership positions with Greenpeace Africa and the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Her experience with arts organisations includes consulting for the Cultural Enterprise Office in Scotland with artists and small creative enterprises to bring their work to the attention of the public, and where appropriate, donors, and investors, NVA environmental arts organisation, and the Dartington International Summer School. She has led on a number of innovative Development programmes, incorporating the arts to bring colour and enliven perspective, and has written and published on donor engagement, strategy, and advancement.
Adrienne writes: “Music and the Arts have been integral to my life since childhood. My role at The Bach Choir is a wonderful opportunity to marry my love of music with my passion for philanthropy”.
