Our final Come and Sing day of this season takes place on Saturday 9 May at the church of St Sepulchre without Newgate, Holborn. We’ve been delighted with the response so far, with many singers keen to experience singing the Verdi Requiem under David Hill’s leadership. Here are some of the comments we’ve had from singers at our previous Come and Sing days:
“I am writing to say what an excellent day I had last Saturday singing Brahms Requiem. Thank you to the organisers, all members of The Bach Choir who welcomed us so warmly, those who diligently served hot refreshments and to those who helped us to sing along on the day.”
“I thought David Hill was fantastic, inspirational, clear. His technique really got results so that was a pleasure. And I thought the organisation from start to finish was efficient and friendly.”
“I just wanted to say how much I and my daughter enjoyed the Come and Sing day which The Bach Choir organised last Saturday. It was very exhilarating to sing with such a large number of people in that beautiful church and David Hill’s guidance was very inspiring and helpful.”
“It was a wonderful day which we thoroughly enjoyed! The organisation was first rate, we received a warm welcome and more info were most impressed by the strict timetable for the day. We learnt such a lot from David Hill who has inspired us to work harder on our choral singing!”
