The second of our ‘Best of British’ concerts features a modern masterpiece: Vaughan Williams’ A Sea Symphony, alongside the world premiere of a work called ‘Blow the trumpet in the new moon’ which has been specially commissioned by The Bach Choir from one of today’s most successful composers, James MacMillan. Completing the musical line up is another classical favourite, Elgar’s Cello Concerto.
